John Mueller of Google mentioned on Twitter that when he’s requested for enter publicly round internet spam points, like on Twitter, he typically wouldn’t report that on to the Google webspam staff. He mentioned “normally I run throughout right here, the place folks ask us for enter, or the place it seems like websites would do higher if prompted, I do not ahead issues to the webspam staff.”

This was particularly in response to a query across the SEMRush guest blog post link thing. He added “perhaps they will discover it anyway, perhaps others will flag it, however perhaps the positioning will simply enhance and be awesomer.”

I completely did not anticipate John to report what SEMRush was doing to the spam staff. However I believe this was on Google’s radar already.

Does it shock you that John doesn’t report these kind of issues to the webspam staff?

We all know Googlers do patrol social media for these kind of efforts.

Discussion board dialogue at Twitter.
